moving to France(holiday)

Messagepar 74monster » dim. 12 déc. 2010, 06:41

Hey were are moving to France next sept for a year long vacation and are going to be looking to buy a cruiser for the year, where would be a good place to look? Right now we are still looking into what area to live. We have some family friends(hid my grandpa in WWII) near Reims but are open to any areas. Any suggestions? Looking forward to hearing from you guys, my wife and I met some of you in 2008 at a series-4 event. Dean

Hi Dean,

here is the right place to find your Land Cruiser ; please tell us which one you are searching, and at what price. We can help.

If you come to Toulouse, you're welcome for a few days.

See you !

Hey Monster,

If you are looking for snow, you should avoid Nantes (west coast). We have not seen a single snowflake for ages despite the mess throughout the rest of the country.

Depending of your areas of interest, you can find almost anything you like here in France, except turkey toppled with jam for thanksgiving :-D.

If you would like to buy a TLC4, then click on the following link : http://www.serie4.fr/forum/search.php?search_id=active_topics
It will display the latest posts of this site. Then check for any post of Toyman77. He is the guy in charge of the classified ads concerning our beloved rigs.
Usually these ads come from http://www.leboncoin.fr

Anyway, if you find a suitable car, I am afraid that you will not be able to register it until you get a valid address in France.

Good luck and welcome to our tiny country :D

all the insurrance are not the sames, there is "full" and "1/3"..and after differentes options...
ask to many company before to take a decision, and ask a french guy to help you...
because if they see you are foreigner, they 'll give you not a good insurrance price.
